PSYCHEDELIC BREAKFAST, now know simply as "The Breakfast", first put their name on the map in 2000, when four tracks from their self-titled, self-produced, independently released album were featured on the MTV series, Undressed. That same year thousands of music lovers saw the band perform a memorable 5 1/2-hour show at the 2000 Woodstock reunion on Yasgur's Farm.

That year also saw the group begin its career as road warriors of the first rank: In 2000 and 2001, PSYCHEDELIC BREAKFAST played before enthusiastic audiences throughout New England, the mid-Atlantic region and the South. Among their many travels, PB proudly performed at the Berkshire Mountain Music Festival in Massachusetts, Hempstock VIII in Maine and the Philadelphia Music Conference. The group also has appeared with the likes of funk legend Bernie Worrell, Leftover Salmon, Robbie Krieger of the Doors, Max Creek and Country Joe. At every stop, music lovers -- Baby Boomers and Generation-Xers alike -- have found PSYCHEDELIC BREAKFAST to be a group like no other they have ever experienced.

The hits kept coming in 2001: The record deal with Sonance Records was followed by the national release of DEUCE, through Select-O-Hits distribution. As an independent effort, DEUCE has garnered rave reviews, including the insistence by Revolving Door magazine that PSYCHEDELIC BREAKFAST "deserves a huge national audience."

Winning awards is nothing new to PSYCHEDELIC BREAKFAST. In 2002, the June/July issue of Relix Magazine’s “On The Verge” column voted PSYCHEDELIC BREAKFAST one of the “Artists You Should Know About” . Relix also distinguished PB when it was featured in “The Second Annual New Artist Special...Beyond the Verge”.

Entering 2003, PSYCHEDELIC BREAKFAST is poised to bring its innovative brand of music to a wider audience. This year marks the first time PB will embark on several national tours, revisiting select venues from their Summer 2002 tour and adding a few more to their list of favorites. This summer will find the soon-to-be legendary group performing at a number of prestigious festivals across the nation.

To accomplish such a daunting task, a group must blend top-flight song-crafting, breathtaking instrumental prowess and the courage to breach existing boundaries. Welcome to the musical stylings of PSYCHEDELIC BREAKFAST, the Connecticut-bred quartet whose third album (and second for Sonance Records) BONA FIDE, heralds the continuation of a special chapter in American rock.

The year 2004 begins with three great developmnents: first, the official change to the name "The Breakfast": second, a great new web site, www.thebreakfast.net; and third, winning the coveted "NEW GROOVE" award at the 2004 JAMMIES in New York.
