After playing NJ for several months, SGR could actually no longer count their fans by using their 21 extremities. Thus the band ventured beyond the Garden State's borders to play shows and record their first EP, "For the Crazy Indian". By the spring of 1993 work was completed on the Crazy Indian EP. Greeted with enthusiasm, tracks off the album found their way onto local Philadelphia Radio 94.1 WYSP, 100.3WPLY, 93.3 WMMR, and college campuses from New England to the deep south. SGR followed the EP's release with an ambitious tour schedule. But it still wasn't enough.

A year later the band re-entered the studio to begin work on a full length CD, "Livin' the Good Life". Released in the summer of 1999, it met and exceeded the standard set by "For the Crazy Indian". In 2003, the band began touring in promotion for their sophomore release, The Tenby Chase.

Later in 2003, SGR released it's first live recording, Live at the Troc, recorded at the famed Trocadero in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
